Indian Politics

So far, I've erased and re-written this one several times; mostly because I really have nothing to say! I'm in Mumbai, being absolutely bored out of my mind! The only thing I do the entire day is gym, bank work, eat, sleep and fool around... mostly cuz lem's not around :P

Lately, I've been keeping up with news; well, Indian news, and one of the only interesting topics are the India - Sri Lanka series that is about to begin, and the recent vote of confidence against the current Indian Government, which is a funny topic, mainly because the vote of no confidence was provoked when India signed the recent nuclear deal with India, so that India would have technology to use nuclear facilities for civilian purposes! To top it up, apparently, the vote is going to be a close one, and every single vote will count, right up to the last one (apparently, there've been plenty cases in Indian political history where votes of confidence have been won/lost by 1 or 2 votes).

Moving on, the Team India (a common nickname for the nation's famous cricket team) are touring Sri Lanka, and so far have been quite pressured by the warm up matches, although players suggest that it is how they start out and have won serieses in the past in similar conditions! More news here.

Going back to my personal life, the only thing now to look forward to is going to Kolkata in 13 days!! And prepare for my cousin's wedding a week and a half after!! well, that's something to look forward too....
